Must-See Photos of Sarah and Me!!!

As many of my readers know, I had the honor of meeting Todd and Sarah Palin in Reno, Nevada, as it was one of Sarah's many Going Rogue Book Tour stops. (Click here, here, and here to read my three-part whirlwind account of meeting Sarah). The photos have been released for viewing, so I am posting the photos of Sarah, Todd and myself below. I am planning on purchasing each of the photos and making a photo montage as a way to remember the event. For all of those who were lucky enough to attend a book signing and meet Sarah, click here to visit awesome Photographer Shealah Craighead's site to see your photos. Shealah did a great job taking thousands of photographs of Sarah and her happy supporters throughout the entire tour.

Levi: Put Up, or Shut Up!

There is a little angel who lives in Alaska who has two parents. One of this little angel's parents gets up early everyday to take care of him. She doesn't just care for him, but she works and goes to school too. Then, there is this little angel's father, who is approaching life in a totally different way. Instead of caring for his little angel, this young man is venturing out to Hollywood and New York, posing for magazines like Playgirl, doing interviews with gossip shows like Entertainment Tonight and on an endless search for his next big deal. You all probably know who I am talking about here. Little Tripp's parents, Bristol and Levi. Like many other conservative bloggers out there, I have repeatedly said that I am not going to use this blog as a platform to discuss Levi Johnston. Although I have said this, there comes a time when individuals like Levi need to be called out for their questionable actions and lies. Levi, or "Ricky Hollywood," as I guess he prefers to be called now, is out and about roaming the lower 48 while the mother of his child is in Alaska doing the right thing.

Bristol is a strong, mature young woman who should be commended. Instead of doing countless interviews and photo shoots, she is is caring for her child, nurturing him during, what are perhaps, the most important years of his young life. While it is not secret that Levi would rather spend time in some Hollywood studio, it is also not secret that little Tripp is so blessed to be surrounded by Bristol and the entire Palin and Heath clan. Bristol is so lucky to have the parents she has. In Todd and Sarah, Bristol has that support system and true role models. In Track, Willow, Piper and Trig, Tripp has aunts, uncles and playmates. I am so proud of Bristol. With integrity and strength, she turned what I'm sure had to have been a difficult circumstance into a positive. This isn't all. Now, she is using her own story to educate other young girls and young women about the importance of abstinence. Bristol has not glamorized her situation, not by a long shot. She is not afraid to say that being a teen mom is difficult and at times stressful, which further illustrates her strength and resilience. I know that I am older than Bristol, but I still look up to her for all she has accomplished and the good she is doing as a mother and advocate.

In choosing life, Bristol illustrated the values her mother and father instilled in her. Just like her mother, she not only talks the talk, but walks the walk. It is so easy to see just how well adjusted and loved little Tripp is. Look at the way he beams at his mommy, smiles at his grandma and grandpa, and reaches out for his Uncle Trig in photos and videos. This is a well adjusted little baby boy who has his mommy to thank for that. Doesn't Levi know that the choices he is making now are going to affect his son in the future? Of course he does. Levi is not some little kid who is unaware of the big world around him. He is 19 years old. He is old enough to join the military for goodness sake. We have young men and women who leave their families to fight for a cause greater than self. I am sick and tired of individuals out there who are blaming Levi's actions on the fact that he just some 19-year-old kid. Give me a break. This man, yes he is a man, is old enough to know right from wrong. Since Levi has no problem shelling out money to fly first class around the United States, he should have no problem going to Walmart or Target and shelling out some money on diapers. After listening to Levi's attorney/ acting buddy Rex Butler on Eddie Burke's show about a month ago, Levi was supposed to start paying Bristol on a regular basis for their son's necessities. As of today, Levi still has not done that. Instead, he gives excuses, saying Bristol never shows up to pick up the money or she doesn't answer his calls. My response to this: "Even if you say your accusations are true, I'm not buying them, you have a shiny new truck, 'Hollywood.' Have you ever heard of hopping in it and taking a drive over to the Palins? You still know where they live, right? After all, you bragged about living there for two whole months." I'm not holding my breath, though, in terms of this happening any time soon.

There is going to come a day when little Tripp is old enough to see the pain his daddy has caused his mommy. By then, I hope Levi comes to his senses and has made amends. How could Levi be so cold and uncaring toward Bristol and the Palins? Is he forgetting everything they did for him? The Palins represent a family unit that sticks together through thick and thin. Although it is so easy for us to see this, Levi is more concerned about his next meal ticket than the very people who took him under their wing. Unlike this coward, Bristol has never spoken ill of little Tripp's father. When Tripp is old enough to understand what is going on, he is going to realize this. He is going to see the intense love and dedication she has for him. Tripp is also going to have to deal with the images of his father printed in an adult magazine, the interviews he conducted with the various gossip shows, and perhaps most unfortunately, Tripp is going to have to deal with the awful things Levi has said about his mother. We can only hope and pray that "Ricky Hollywood" wakes up and realizes the damage he has caused and begins to change his ways.

Sure, Levi, the money you are making right now many be nice, and you are jet setting around the world in first-class style, but eventually, those who are using you right now are going to outgrow you. The Rex Butlers, Tank Jones and unhinged Alaska bloggers of this world are going to move on to another individual whom they can latch onto and use to gain fame and notoriety. The question is: Is Levi smart enough to realize that he is being used? Is Levi smart enough to know that he needs to drop those losers and come back down to earth to live with us mere mortals? And if he does, will he see the priceless gift that he has sitting right in front of him before it's too late? Tripp is living the most important years of his life in terms of connecting with those around him. While he is too young to know what is going on around him, it is just a matter of time before he begins to take notice.

Step up, Levi! Step up in the name of Tripp! Step up and start cherishing your son and respecting your baby's mother, an amazing woman. You look like a fool parading around the world, wearing sunglasses inside airports, posing for stupid magazines, and making "b-rated" commercials. Step up, Levi, and be the father your precious son deserves. Stop flying first class and start buying him some diapers and supporting Tripp financially because when the fame rubs off, and the leaches rid themselves of you, who will be left standing? I pray that Tripp WILL be waiting there with open arms, reaching up to be held by his daddy. It is up to you, Levi. Which path are you going to choose?

Catch My National TV Debut!!!

Last March, I received an email from America's most popular game show, Wheel of Fortune, inviting me up to Los Angeles for an audition. Since I studied English and Journalism in college and grad school, I have always enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune and playing along. In my wildest dreams, I NEVER thought that I'd actually be picked as a contestant. That is the same thing I thought when I filled out the online application for fun last February. After reading the information on the application, I knew that filling out an application did not automatically ensure that I would get an audition, but I thought, "What the heck; I'll give it a shot anyway." One of my fondest memories comes when I was a child and my family and I traveled to Los Angeles for a chance to be in the Wheel of Fortune audience. Now, I have to admit, I was a very spunky child, and I had many ornery moments that I look back now and chuckle about. One such moment came during the taping of the episode we attended. The employees are very meticulous with keeping the audience quiet, but being the spunky child I was then (I always loved the spotlight), I saw Vanna White approach backstage to the left of where my family and I were sitting, and I quietly yelled out, "Vanna" hoping she would hear me. Sure enough, Vanna heard me, and she waved and smiled at me. I was so stoked and excited, and I could tell that, although my parents thought that had to be the coolest thing ever, they had to be a little embarrassed too. The young employee wasn't too happy with my little stunt and glared at me, and I just smiled right back at her. Come on, I was a 14-year-old kid.

When I showed up at the audition, I learned that I would be attending the second audition of the day. The audition was held at a hotel ballroom near the studio where Wheel is taped. I quickly learned that I would be trying out with about 120-150 other people, and I learned that about five of us would be picked to appear on the show. I knew it was going to be a huge long shot for me to actually be picked, but being the competitive girl I am, I knew I would give it my all and pray that I would be lucky enough to be picked.

The audition process took about two hours. The first part was a written test, and I learned that there would be a first cut and that over half of the people would be sent packing. After I took the written test, I prayed that I did enough to stick around. When the four contestant coordinators started to name those who would be staying, I almost fainted right then and there when I heard my name called about 10 names in. I knew that I had passed the first test, but I knew it was about to get a lot tougher as I was going to be playing a mock game with the remaining auditioners. After we said our goodbyes to those who left us, we got to take a small break before being put into groups to play the mock game. I had already had an exhilarating time and made met so many great people. I have always been an outgoing, bubbly person, so it was easy to connect with them. We got to talk a little about ourselves, and the judges told us that if we got a letter in the mail within the next two weeks that meant we had been been picked to be a contestant. If we didn't get a letter that meant we didn't and would have to wait an entire year to be try out again. (I met many people that day in which this had been their second and even third tryout.) I just kept praying that God would lead me and that I would trust him and the plans he has for my life. If appearing on Wheel was one of them, I would give this experience my all. The contestant coordinators made it clear that being picked as a contestant was a fete in itself. Each year, six million people send in applications and audition, and out of that six million, fewer than 600 people are chosen as contestants. I heard that you have a greater chance of being struck by lightning that appearing on the show. Talk about pressure, huh?

At the end of the audition, the contestant coordinators took each of our pictures and put them with our paperwork, wished us luck and we were free to leave. The contestant coordinators were really friendly, and I thank them so much for being so great and welcoming. I knew it was going to be a long two weeks, and I kind of came to the realization that it would be a long shot, but I thanked God for giving me the opportunity to audition. After that twelfth day of waiting, I began to assume that the letter would not be coming to my door, but on the thirteenth day, I almost passed out when I saw that white envelope with the Wheel of Fortune label on the return address, and I knew what the meant- I didn't even have to open the letter, for I knew what it said: I had just been chosen as a contestant for Wheel of Fortune. I couldn't control my excitement, and I immediately began screaming and jumping up and down. My mom was outside in the driveway, and I ran out to her waving the envelope in the air, screaming that I had made the show. I was walking, or should I say running, on cloud nine. As I read the information inside, I learned that I would be appearing within 18 months. I knew it was going to be a while before I would appear, but I didn't care because I just felt so blessed to have been chosen out of all those who try out each year.

Well, fellow readers, 10 months have gone by, and I am happy to report that I received a call from Wheel this past Tuesday informing me that I will be taping my appearance this Friday. I am so excited and studying all things Wheel of Fortune. I don't know how much I will win, but I know that I feel so blessed just to be given this chance of a lifetime. I have no doubt that this experience will be an experience of a lifetime. I plan to just get out there and have fun; after all, that is what life is about. Life is a funny thing sometimes, right? As a young girl, I dreamed of one day spinning that famous wheel and now, 14 years later, I get the chance too. How cool is that? My advice to all of you out there is to just go for it, whatever that "it" may be for you. I am living proof that dreams do come true! After all, if you don't go for it, you'll never know what may have been! I wanted to share with you, my blog family, this amazing news and to also let you know that this is why I will not be blogging as regularly for the next week as I prepare for my appearance. Don't worry, I will keep you posted on when my show airs. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers and for the kind words of encouragement I have already received. You all are true blessings!!!

*****Palin Star Power*****

As a sports' fanatic and former athlete myself, I always turn to sports analogies when I want to get an important point across. Last night, Sarah came up to bat in the bottom of the ninth and knocked in the winning run. Just as fans would, no doubt, uncontrollably cheer at the star player who knocked in the winning run, so too did Americans across the country. SARAH IS BACK!!! As my regular readers know, I studied journalism in college and have repeatedly written and spoken out regarding my disappointment in the media's reporting. Although the majority of the media are in-the-dunk-tank for President Obama and his administration, there are honest forms of media out there that are reporting the truth in an an objective, fair manner. One such news source is the Fox News Channel. I couldn't be more thrilled and excited with the addition of Sarah Palin to this network. With her, Sarah not only brings vast political knowledge, but the experience of being a journalist. Last night, Sarah wowed the world and undoubtedly shut up a few critics too. Not only did Bill O'Reilly treat her fairly, as he is known to be fair to his guests and commentators, but he seemed to really appreciate her insight.

While I am so excited for Sarah to be back in the the forefront, speaking out on important issues and giving her much-needed political, common-sense advice, there are some skeptics out there- you know it, and I know it. I don't have to tell you about the liberal pundits, I'm talking about individuals who adore Sarah and support her, but are weary of her latest decision. I want to address those individuals. Remember, what Sarah's dad said directly following the election? He said "Let Sarah be Sarah." This is exactly what she is doing now. Sarah is no longer tied up and being given specific talking points to discuss. Last night, we saw Sarah, the real Sarah. Gone was the Sarah whom the McCain camp attempted to change. Gone was the Sarah who was unable to speak out on issues she really cared about. Last night, we saw the Sarah Alaska has come to know and love. Not only did Sarah know the issues, but she spoke with a common sense tone. This is a woman who knows the media firsthand. This is a woman who knows how to use certain aspects of the media to get her message out there. This is a woman who can write a Facebook note, hit the "post" button, and her message is immediately out there for the world to see. Now, she has an even bigger platform in which to speak. As a regular contributor to FNC, she will not only widen her base, but has the platform to stand up and speak out. No wonder the liberal left is so baffled and upset by her decision to join the FNC team.

No one knows Sarah better than Sarah herself, and we need to trust her most recent decision. We all know how successful she has been in the decisions she has made in the past. While many individuals are fearful that her taking on this job with the FNC may mean she doesn't plan on running for president, I see her taking on this job as an important step in a favorable direction to a presidential run. Americans will now be able to get to know the Sarah we already know. This will not only widen her base, but allow moderates and independents to see just how amazing an individual she is. Perhaps my favorite reason for why I am so excited by Sarah's decision is because it has already caused the liberal left's heads to spin, and I couldn't be more thrilled. The liberal left could not escape her when she turned to Twitter, and then Facebook. If their heads were ready to explode then, I can't wait to see what happens with them now. There is no doubt in my mind that their attacks against her will increase, but something tells me, Sarah already knows this and is prepared and ready, just as she was last night. Sarah's latest decision not only illustrates her political savvy, but the continued successful political future I'm sure she will no doubt have.

(Make sure to catch me as a guest on #1 Alaska Talk Radio Host Eddie Burke's Show this Thursday at 6PST. I will be discussing this latest move by Sarah. I would love to know what you all think of Sarah joining the Fox team. Post a comment below, and you just may hear me mention it on Eddie's show. Outside Alaska? Listen online: www.kbyr.com. Thanks)

If You're a Conservative, You Must be a Racist! (Well, at Least According to a Liberal....)

Well, I have come to the conclusion that if you are a conservative, you must obviously be a racist- this is the commonplace sentiment among the liberal left these days. When attempting to have a justified, political conversation with a liberal, the conversation always turns to race. It doesn't matter what the topic of conversation is:

"I don't agree with the imposed health care bill," then "you're a racist."

"I attend tea parties," then "you're a racist."

And then there's the classic, "I don't agree with the policies of this president and his administration," then, you guessed it, "you're a racist."

I'm sick and tired of the whole race card being dealt as a defense each and every time conservatives and independents disagree with the liberal left. I often ask myself, "Do the members of the liberal left who call us racist even know what the term "racist" means?" The more liberals throw around the word "racist," the true definition is being lost in the process. It sickens me because I know that aspects of racism still exist in the world, but these aspects are being lost in the process every time the vengeful left attempts to use it as the sole argument for disagreement. It makes me so angry because the left is doing those who have personally experienced racism a huge disservice.

While those on the left claim to be the most tolerant, accepting individuals, they sure don't practice what they preach. I am sick and tired of being called a racist, and yes yours truly was recently called one, by the same individuals who preach acceptance. It is time these individuals take a page from the Sarah Palin Playbook and walk the walk, for until they do, they are literally walking closer and closer to the edge of no return. You can only use the race card for so long before it gets old. You don't have to look far to see that this has happened with the other blame game tactics of the left. It is clear that people quickly grew sick and tired of the whole "blame George W. Bush" argument. You think the liberal left would have learned the whole blame game and name calling arguments don't work. Yet, they are still at it, only this time they are using a very serious issue as a means of attempting to sway individuals to their side.

Why are conservatives being targeted in this manner? The answer to this question is simple. It is because the left has run out of talking points, and deep down, the members of the left realize this. It's the "if you can't win them, personally attack them" strategy. Perhaps this whole racist bullying lingo couldn't be anymore ironic when just recently, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nevada) apologized for derogatory comments he made during the 2008 Presidential Campaign about then-candidate Barack Obama in which he described Obama as a "light skinned" African-American "with no Negro dialect, unless he wanted to have one." Now, when we have a clearly racist, derogatory statement, you would think the left would condemn his comments, right? I mean it's only right to do so, right? WRONG! Instead of speaking out and condemning this man for his ridiculous statement, the left is behind him 100 percent. What about the African-American members of the Senate and House? They are behind him too. James Clyburn (D-South Carolina) said:

"Senator Reid's apology for his private assessment of President Obama's candidacy should be accepted and our time and energy should be devoted to helping him overcome current obstacles to job creation, health care reform and energy independence."

Isn't it hypocritical that these same individuals who repeatedly attack the tea party movement and its attendees suddenly become all mushy and accepting at comments that were clearly over-the-line and racist? You and I know exactly what would be happening if a prominent Republican member of the Senate uttered such a comment: They would be forced to resign (aka Senator Trent Lott). This is just yet another example of the double standard that I repeatedly write and speak of. This is a prime example of just how ridiculous and out-of-touch the liberal left is to the world as a whole. When did it become right to call someone a racist simply because they disagree with the president and his policies? To this Conservative Girl with a Voice, it is freedom of speech. I don't have a racist bone in my body, and I have friends of all races and political affiliations who would account for this. As a Christian young woman, I have been called upon to love my neighbor as myself. I love all my friends. It does not matter their race, religion or sexuality. While I may not agree with them on many issues, I would never resort to name calling or referencing their race, but then again, that is what separates me from many of the liberal left. I want to make it clear. I am not, by any means, writing that all members of the liberal left resort to dealing the race card. I am specifically talking about those who can't get over the fact that race has nothing to do with the arguing that is taking place in this country.

For a president who made it his mission to bring the country together, I have never seen our country so deeply divided. While it is true that racism does exist, which is very unfortunate, it is unfair and simply wrong to blame the anger and deep divide of our country on racism. Yet, many members of the left are using this as their sole line of defense. Has it ever occurred to them that this anger is because of the high unemployment numbers, or the out-of-control and wasteful spending? Has it ever occurred to them that this anger stems from the fact that the Democrats in the House and Senate are attempting to pass health care legislation that the majority of the country is against? Has it ever occurred to them that this anger may be because people are fed up that no one in power is listening to them anymore? After all, it is we who elected them to serve. Yes, liberal left, sorry to burst your bubble, but the anger in this country is a result of all of the above, not racism.

Frankly, I am deeply offended to be called a racist simply because I choose to stand up and speak out. Wake up, liberals! Wake up and see the disaster-in-chief of a president you have. My calling him that has nothing to do with his skin color, and everything to do with his policies. I sincerely believe that the liberal left is using the issue of racism as a cover-up for the failed policies of the Obama Administration; after all, last I checked, race has nothing to with a president's JOB approval numbers. I could care less what color my leaders are. I could care less what gender my leaders are. The only thing I care about is their job performance. I was disgusted with the way President Bush handled the bailout debacle, and I spoke out my disapproval, and last I checked, President Bush was white. I never thought it was racist when members of different races spoke out against Bush, and if I would have heard that argument presented, I would have called those making it ridiculous.

Conservatives and liberals are different in many ways, which is obvious. Conservatives are able to realize when they make a mistake and apologize, whereas it is rare to hear a liberal apologize for the offensive comments they continually make. I believe this all stems from the fact that conservatives are able to see their faults, and liberals are blinded by theirs. They love dishing out criticism, but when they cross the line, they act as though they are the victims, not the oppressors. The ridiculousness of the left is not going to change anytime soon, so it is up to us, the grown ups, to hang tight and continue to push on in the name of freedom of speech- right and just freedom of speech- until the members of the left realize just how out of touch and wrong they have been all along.

Raking Muck: The Endless Drudgery of the Liberal Alaska Blogosphere

What happened to honesty and integrity within the Alaska Democratic Party? Where's the ethical standards of the now Obama Administration? And finally, why does the Alaska liberal blogosphere so desperately want to rip Sarah Palin's character to shreds? These are important questions that I have pondered since the presidential election of 2008. While I had my assumptions for the answers to these questions, I needed more than that- I needed concrete evidence that illustrated the link between these three groups. This past summer, a reader shared a link to a You Tube video entitled Palin, the Alaska Bloggers and 'Ethicsgate' that I found not only astonishing, but eye awakening, so much so that I have decided to discuss what I saw with you, my readers.

Many of you may remember this post from the summer, but as my readership has grown dramatically over the course of the last few months, I am re-posting it with some new additions. The report was originally put together by Naked Emperor News (NEN), a conservative blog that is also featured on Townhall. Their report was re-posted on You Tube on July 31, 2009 (my birthday). I encourage all of you to view the video in its entirety. What NEN has done is show the connections between the three groups mentioned above in an attempt to destroy Sarah Palin's good name and bring her down. Although Sarah is no longer in elected office, the liberal left is continuing their vengeful, spiteful, nasty attacks on her and her family. Most recently, you all saw this happen with the giddy way in which the liberal blogosphere reacted to a decision made by two judges who ruled to open up the custody case between Bristol and Levi over their son, Tripp. The liberal blogosphere up in Alaska NEVER liked Sarah, but these attacks were ramped up to full-force as soon as Sarah became the Republican Party's Vice Presidential Nominee, continuing to this very day.

You may or may not be familiar with the name Peter Rouse, but you should be. Rouse, an Alaskan, is a senior advisor to Barack Obama with an office between David Axelrod and Rahm Emanuel. While being advisor to the president is a huge honor in itself, it is how Rouse got the job that is the main issue at hand. Rouse's mother grew up in AK and Rouse once served as chief of staff to former Lieutenant Governor Terry Miller. He is also good friends with fellow Alaskan State Senator Kim Elton, the individual who began the whole Troopergate investigation. This is an important link as NEN reports. NEN has uncovered audio of an interview Elton did with a reporter prior to the 2008 presidential election:

Elton: So this has been a fascinating year watching what's been happening back East.

Reporter: So you're an Obama man, Senator Elton?

Elton: I'm a big fan.

Reporter: Are you? Really? Is that an official endorsement?

Elton: I guess we can call it that. I've not done it any place else, but I kind of weighed in with a contribution, a couple of contributions this last year, but yeah you can make it official now.

So, the same individual who started Troopergate, was a "fan" and ardent supporter of then-candidate Obama? Elton is the kind of guy who doesn't seem to be able to keep his mouth shut. NEN uncovered another audio tape in which Elton admitted to talking to Rouse a couple times a month about the election: "One of my great friends, somebody I talk to a couple times a month is Pete Rouse who is chief of staff to Barack Obama." How ironic that an advisor to Obama be in such close communication with the individual, a democrat, who started the first ethics investigation against Sarah? But for the Obama campaign, one investigation was not enough. In typical Chicago-style politics, Sarah was a threat, so the Obama campaign continued on its mission to destroy her. NEN reported that the Obama campaign contacted the union for Alaska State Troopers, which is the union Mike Wooten (Sarah's ex-brother-in-law and trooper identified in the investigation) belonged to. This communication resulted in another ethics complaint- this time by the union for Alaska State Troopers. What a domino effect of sorts, but the connections don't end there- not by a long shot.

Remember shortly after Sarah was picked as the VP nominee, a large number of media outlets sent reporters to AK to find out more about this little-known governor? Well, their excuse was that they just wanted to learn more about Sarah and her time as governor, but many, including myself, KNEW what these reporters were really doing: They were sent to AK to dig up whatever dirt they could on Sarah. NEN found that the media gave "unquestioned credence to the Alaskan blogs." the media took it upon themselves to use various blogs as factual; therefore, they become the media's sources to all things Sarah Palin. What is important to note is that these blogs were not objective by any means; instead, these bloggers were actually organized liberal political activists and liberal radio talk show hosts according to NEN. While watching this report, one blogger can be heard saying in regard to the bloggers and their blogs that they were in the "right place at the right time." These bloggers saw destroying Sarah Palin as their ticket to fame.

Some of you may have heard of the PAC Alaskans for Truth. While this group's name implies honesty, this PAC is far from honest. This group was created as a way to, "hold Palin accountable." Many board members of this PAC are the very members who have filed ethics complaints against Sarah. The following is a list of the prominent members of this PAC and a little more about each of them: 1) Shannyn Moore- liberal blogger (Just a Girl From Homer) who can be seen as an analyst on MSNBC, blogs for the Huffington Post and even has her own local radio and television show, active participant of Alaskans for Truth PAC. 2) Linda Kellen Biegel- liberal blogger (Celtic Diva's Blue Oasis), Deputy Treasurer for Alaskans for Truth. 3) Jeanne Devon- blogger (Mudflats), wife of the treasurer for Alaskans for Truth, 4) Camille Conte- also known as "CC," host of AK show Demo Memo, chairperson for Alaskans for Truth. These members not only became sources to media outlets, but they also held protests collected recall signatures and filed ethics complaints. (Remember the Arctic Cat complaint, well that complaint was filed by Celtic Diva herself, Linda Kellen Biegel.)

While the ethics complaint filers claim to be "independent, concerned citizens," this is far from the truth as you can see. These individuals all pal around at the same daycare center. Perhaps the most dramatic piece of evidence that illustrates how close these bloggers are comes in the form of a July 4, 2009, radio show featuring Biegel and "CC" that has been uncovered by NEN. During the show, several so-called "unconnected" ethics complaint filers happen to call in during the show. Pure coincidence? I think not. It is clearly evident that these callers got together and arranged this. One of the callers, "Val," is non other than Val Henning, wife of Zane Henning who has filed not just one, but two ethics complaints against Sarah. Yet, the listeners did not know this. Instead, viewers are introduced to "Val," who acts as if she is a concerned citizen, not a woman with a conflict of interest. The following is what she said on the show in regards to the filed ethics complaints:

"What Palin calls frivolous, the things I've read don't seem frivolous. To me, it is a clear violation of the Ethics Act."

Gee, Val I wonder how you came to that conclusion? How objective of you. It is sick how corrupt some individuals can be.

Not only did NEN find connections between the Obama campaign and the liberal bloggers, but also the connection among these two groups and AK democrats. 1) Mark Begich- United States Senator from AK, worked closely with Rouse on the Natural Gas Pipeline. 2) Patti Higgens- Chairperson to the AK Democratic Party. 3) Tony Knowles- former Democratic governor of Alaska, so-called "Alaskan Mythbuster" for the Obama campaign, good friend to Rouse. According to the NEN report, Rouse is also connected to various prominent Alaska bloggers, one of whom is Linda Kellen Biegel (Celtic Diva). The majority of these individuals not only are connected to Rouse, but to the bloggers and radio talk host mentioned above. "CC's" connection to these AK democrats is very interesting. NEN reports that, oftentimes she would not only discuss her Alaskans for Truth PAC with top AK democrats on her show, but she would use her show as a soap box for actions to take against Sarah. NEN uncovered audio from one of her shows, which aired prior to the 2008 election, in which "CC" told an AK state politician:

"Well, she's (Sarah) thinkin' 2012, you know she's probably salivating because she's thinking to herself 'either way, I win.' If I win this election, yippy-eye-A, somehow I got to be vice president of the United States. If I lose this election, there's a possibility she'll end up being the senator of the state. Worst case scenario in her mind, she comes home and continues her cushy job of governor, but you see Governor Palin made a fatal error when she slammed the democrats along the troopergate trail. She made a fatal error when she slammed the party that basically helped her achieve most of the success she achieved in her 21 months as governor because when she does come back as governor, and when she doesn't become the senator because Mark Begich wins, she's gonna deal with the democratic majority, and I hope that you guys give her a run for her money, see because the democrats, we like to play nice, we like to do it, but you know what, that would be extremely inappropriate because she came out and she slammed you guys during the troopergate, and let's play ball, let's play ball with her, and it will be interesting to see how the democrats work with the governor when she comes home. I hope we don't play nice because that will not be appropriate."

"CC" got her wish because we all know how Sarah was treated when she came home from the campaign trail. We have seen and read the stories. Sarah was treated like an outsider by not only the Democratic Party, but the good ol' boy network of the Republican Party as well. The ethics complaints that these loons filed against her racked up her legal bills, costing both her and the state of Alaska hundreds of thousands of dollars. Sarah cited this when she make the decision to resign from the office of governor. Words cannot even begin to describe the anger I have for what these "daycare-center kiddos" did to Sarah and her family. They wasted the Alaskan taxpayers' time and money with these frivolous complaints that all got dismissed, by the way. It must really eat these angry complaint filers up to know that they will always be considered losers while Sarah will always be considered a winner in the hearts and minds of people everywhere.

I have gotten to personally know many Alaskans who have the pleasure to know Sarah and her family personally. Just because they know Sarah and support her, they are repeatedly attacked by the liberal blogosphere. Biegel (Celtic Diva) is known for her vile attacks and personal cheap shots not only at Sarah and her family, but to Sarah's friends. Most recently, Biegel decided to target Alaska's #1 Radio Talk Show Host Eddie Burke and Jessica, Sarah's friend and hair dresser. If you read yesterday's post, you know that Eddie and Jessica have been unfairly criticized because they and many others, like myself, are questioning the true motives of the two judges who ruled to open up the Tripp custody case. On Twitter, Jessica simply voiced her First-Amendment right to free speech and voiced her support of contacting the judges of the case to find out their true motives. Celtic Diva attacked her here here in a recent post. Eddie and Jessica did nothing wrong as the phone numbers and email addresses of the judges can publicly be viewed by anyone who uses Google. Once again, this latest attack has nothing to do with the issue at hand and everything to do with Linda Kellen Beigel's strange obsession with her need to bring Sarah Palin down. I think it's time for Ms. Beigel to find a new hobby. After all, last time I checked, Sarah is no longer her governor. I get a kick out of the liberal left who say they are not threatened by Sarah, yet try their darndest to destroy her. Looks to me like they are, in fact, scared of Sarah and everything she represents. Sarah has a base that keeps getting larger by the day. Sarah has no fear. She is not afraid to speak out against President Obama, and it eats these obsessed liberals up that with the click of a mouse her message is being read and reported to millions.

Perhaps one of the most petty attacks by these ankle biters comes from blogger Shannyn Moore. Following Sarah's decision to address an Indiana Right to Life group, Moore went on MSNBC and spoke with David Shuster, in which she said in regards to Palin:

"And she's choosing to go speak, basically in a pandering move to her base, an anti-choice group."

We all know the harsh treatment Sarah received when she decided to go speak to this group. Although she spoke during a time that in no way affected the state legislature, she was attacked endlessly, which had nothing to do with her job as governor and everything to do with partisan politics. Sure enough, a woman by the name of Sondra Tompkins, who was a fixture at the Alaskans for Truth protest rallies, filed an ethics complaint because Sarah chose to travel to Indiana to speak to a group Tompkins called, according to NEN, a "right-wing ultra conservative group that supports her." When you don't think anymore could happen to Sarah, they throw the kitchen sink at her. Like Biegel, Moore is obsessed with destroying Sarah. Recently, Moore wrote an entire blog post going through Sarah's latest Facebook Note piece by piece. When a friend sent me the link, I couldn't help but laugh at just how desperate and vindictive this woman is. Both her weekly television and radio shows illustrate the same desperate attempt to discredit all things Sarah. Arguing over political policy is one thing, but it is far different matter when you attack someone personally, which is what Biegel, Moore and Devon do on a regular basis.

It is important to discuss what the NEN found in terms of the payoffs many of the individuals discussed above have received from the dirty work they have performed. While the payoffs may not have been financial, what they got in return has paid off big time for the following individuals: 1)Troopergate investigation starter and Peter Rouse buddy Kim Elton- resigned as AK state senator and paid handsomely as he was appointed by Obama to the Department of the Interior's director of AK. 2) Demo Memo Host Camille Conte ("CC")- received national attention when she got the award of "Most Valuable Local Media Personality" of 2008 from "The Nation" Magazine. 3) "Just a Girl from Homer" blogger Shannyn Moore- in her own words:

"I had a radio station show, I was fired, and I started blogging and because I was starting to write, I was able to get back on the radio. I was on Air America every night as a reporter."

So, when you hear these individuals say they have not been paid for the blogs they have written or the stuff they have talked about, we KNOW the truth. And remember, Moore still has her tv, radio and is a regular contributor for the Huffington Post.

Thank God for outlets like NEN. They have done what the msm are so afraid to do or simply won't do. NEN has uncovered what they describe as "new evidence" in regards to their report. According to NEN, "It is illegal to break the confidentiality of ethics complaints or knowingly file a false complaint. It is also a crime to get others to commit crimes under AK solicitation laws." Maybe it's time these bloggers realized this. NEN has found audio of Moore saying the following:

"Um, you know, I actually talked to someone who was putting in an ethics complaint, and I wanted to know a little bit more about it. They had wanted me to write about it or talk about it on the air. I said 'Wow, well, that's got a lot of holes in it, and they said, 'Well, I don't really care, I just want to be a pain in the ass to the governor.'"

This statement pretty much sums up what these so-called "independent concerned citizens" have been toward Sarah. Not only have they cost the state and her hundreds of thousands of dollars, but they have illustrated just how hateful, unhappy and immature they are. Don't these people have anything better to do than file complaint after complaint? With each filed complaint, came a dismissed complaint, which illustrates just how out of touch these individuals are with reality. I know this post is long and may have to be re-read in order to fully understand all of the connections, but I felt it was very important that I share this information with my readers. Sarah is a threat to everything the Obama administration stands for, and she will continue to be a threat the more she speaks out against his policies that could change the America we have come to know and love. It is important that we stand by Sarah for it is a guarantee that she will continue to be tested. Let's stand with her and her amazing family and support them as they continue the good fight for truthfulness and fairness, for Sarah is speaking for US!!!

I encourage you all to leave a comment below as a sign of support for Eddie and Jessica. Both are regular readers of my blog, so they will see them. They are two strong individuals, and there is no doubt in my mind that they WILL continue to fight the good fight. Join me in praying for them and their families and for Sarah and her family too. Remember, fellow readers, if we band together, we CAN battle any storm that may come our way, and we will BE victorious in the end!!!

Stand Up in the Name of Freedom!!!

UPDATE: Please visit my buddy Patrick's blog and read his latest blog entry "Liberals Throw Kid Under Bus, so They Can Have Last Chance to Save Failing Smear Campaign." It is a hard-hitting piece that further highlights the vile nature of the leftist blogosphere.

Don't you just love how the liberal left loves to dish criticism, but can't take it? Well, my response is simple: "Suck it up, buttercup." As I have mentioned before, I get attacked daily on Twitter and by liberals who visit my blog. I have gotten attacked from a variety of members on the left, ranging from liberal Alaskan bloggers, who have wasted Alaskan taxpayers' dollars simply because of a vendetta they hold against Sarah, to liberal loons who obviously have no idea what the constitution is. The comments usually have no intellectual substance and are usually full of vile, and sexual innuendo. I am not the young, naive girl I once was. I no longer sit back and allow individuals to attack those whom I care about and support. When I am attacked on Twitter, I press on and continue to stand up and speak out, and I hope you all do this too. Don't let the liberal left tell you that you can't make a difference. Don't let the liberal left get you down and put you in a corner. Remember, that is what they want you to do. They want you to sit down and shut up because when you do this, the liberal left views this as a victory for liberalism. When I am attacked, I know that my message is getting out there, and this makes every attack I receive from the liberal left more than worth it. Press on just like Sarah Palin does. She is a prominent example of an individual who continues to drive liberals crazy. If she wasn't such a threat, the liberal left would not care about what she says or writes.

As my regular readers know, I have never written about the actions of Levi because frankly, his actions are not what this blog is based upon. As a citizen journalist, I do feel it is important to call it like I see it and to call out anyone or any group whom I find to be dishonest or questionable in their actions. It is no secret that the custody case for little Tripp has been opened to the public. While I said I will not go into extreme detail about the case itself, I will address some information that has recently been discovered regarding the two judges who made the decision to open the case to the public.

If you are on Facebook, I encourage you all to join Barracuda Brigade for Our American Girl! 2012. This is a great group that has spread the awareness about these judges and their liberal voting record. The two judges in question are Superior Court Judge Kari C. Kristiansen and Superior Court Judge Sharon Gleason. Kristiansen issued the ruling to open up the case to the public under the authority of Gleason. I, for one, was astonished that these judges decided that it was in the best interest of little Tripp to open the custody case to the public. How is having the public aware of every aspect of the proceedings a good thing for Tripp or his mother? As I began to think about this, I began to research for more information about the individuals who made the decision to open the case to the public. What I found was astonishing. Not only were both of these judges appointed by Former Democratic Governor Tony Knowles, but both have a clear, transparent, liberal voting record. It is also important to note that Kristiansen and Gleason are up for re-appointment later this year. Judges are supposed to look out for the best interests of children, but it appears these two liberal judges may have let their personal, political beliefs guide them in the decision process.

While Superior Court Judge Sharon Gleason's name may not sound familiar, there is an issue she ruled on that has caused widespread controversy. The aerial wolf control program is a hot-button issue. While this is an issue for Alaskans, the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) with the help of celebrities like Ashley Judd amped up attacks last year against the control program, targeting then-Governor Sarah Palin firsthand. Those against the aerial control program argue that the wolf population is getting killed at a rapid rate, while those in favor of the program argue that moose and caribou numbers are in serious decline because they are preyed upon by the wolves. I agree with those who are in favor of the aerial program. Having researched and spoken with Alaskans, it is clear that Alaskans depend on moose and caribou as their prime source of protein along with seafood. Back in January of 2006, Judge Gleason ruled that the aerial wolf control program, authorized by the AK Board of Game, was illegal. Thankfully for Alaskans, the aerial control program was finally put back in place. Judge Gleason is not alone in her leftist mindset. Thomas Lamb over at Red County recently wrote an article about the child custody ruling made by these two judges. In the article he writes:

"... Alaska Superior Court Judge Kari Kristiansen ruled 'that Bristol Palin hadn't provided any evidence that Tripp would be harmed by the anticipated publicity. She ordered all the sealed records opened.'

Right....

She finds that there would be no evidence that would harm Tripp with the anticipated publicity.

How about when he gets older? Hmmm, the judge never considered that one.

Nothing like seeing re-runs of dear ole' Dad air his 15 minutes of trashing his grandmother in public, er make that in court and then in public.

Moreover, when it comes to sealing records; in cases of child abuse, records are sealed many times to protect the privacy of the parents. Or how about adoption proceedings? Same thing."

This so-called judge didn't believe Tripp would be harmed in a public case? This is simply insane. We all know Sarah is a public person. She is threatened on a daily basis by the extreme left. Bristol is her daughter, and Tripp is her grandson. They reside with Sarah and Todd. How dare this judge deny them the privacy and security that most other children are given during a custody case. Public persons like exes Britney Spears and Kevin Federline, as well as exes Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger both were granted private proceedings. Something tells me had Gleason been presiding over these cases or that of a prominent individual on the left, the result would have been different. This is just another example of members of the left using their powerful positions in an attempt to destroy Sarah and her family. A sealed custody case clearly would have been "in the best interest of the child." Lamb makes a great point in discussing how off-base Kristiansen was in her decision:

"... she [Kristiansen] has created an environment that will promote the animosity between parties which never serves the best interest of the child.

That is why family mediation is becoming popular.

And again, Kristiansen misses the mark on what is the best case scenario for handling a custody case.

After looking at Kristiansen's file, she shouldn't be handling child custody cases, because even though she has had (according to her) litigated a few custody and CINA [Child in Need of Aid] cases, it is telling she lacks the sensitivity to handle a case like this, when she comes up with her bogus reasoning that the publicity will not harm the child.

That alone makes me think she shouldn't even be a judge. She hasn't considered the long term effect. But Judges like her never do. It's all about the here and now and what the time is on the clock in the court room.

Instead of being a judge, Kristiansen should still be practicing law for some environmentalist group."

Way to go, Mr. Lamb. It is clear that both Gleason and Kristianson are more suited to practicing law for some environmental group. Maybe the WWF is in need of a couple lawyers? It all comes back to Sarah and her beliefs. The information I have gathered gives me great cause to believe that Gleason and Kristiansen both had a personal agenda when they went against the best interests of little Tripp and made this custody hearing public. You don't have to spend that much time surfing the web to see how giddy the leftist blogosphere is at the decision to have this case opened to the public. They know they will be able to exploit the Palin family. The vile, extremist far left are like vultures, eagerly waiting for the moment in which they can strike.

While the liberal left claim to be tolerant, they are anything but. The Facebook group that I cited at the beginning of this post has received threats, just because they are reporting this story and releasing the phone numbers and email addresses of the two judges in question, when the numbers are public record and can easily be Googled on the internet. Alaska's #1 Radio Talk Show Host Eddie Burke is getting threatened as well just because he is reporting this story. Another individual who has gotten unfairly attacked is Jessica, who owns the Beehive Beauty Shop in Alaska and is Sarah's hair dresser. Jessica is a sweet, honest woman who cares about the Palin family. Isn't it ironic that when these individuals want to voice their First-Amendment right, they are threatened and told that they shouldn't be doing so? They have broken no laws in publishing the phone numbers and email addresses, for all are public record. It all comes back to this: The left can dish it, but cannot take it. How dare they go after an individual simply for speaking out. I don't see conservatives threatening members of the left for exercising their First-Amendment right, and this is because conservatives, like myself, know that everyone should be able to have his or her say. The left is not going to win, for we will not sit down, and we will not shut up! The vile left can try as they might to silence us, but they will not succeed. The more they push at us, the more we will push back. While I am extremely disgusted at these liberal judges for deciding against the best interest of Tripp, I will not back down in reporting the truth. The questionable actions of Kristiansen and Gleason shed light on just how vile and down-right hateful the far left is. Perhaps Lamb put it best at the close of his article:

"Judge Kristiansen, we'll be watching and writing about your rulings..... After all, who knows, you may be the next pick to be sitting on Alaska's Supreme Court.

That is Alaska's judicial system for you..."

Lamb may be on to something. It certainly would not be the first time that a high-ranking Alaskan Official gets rewarded for his/her questionable actions. It seems as if we are living in a Chicago-thug-style political era. An era in which political favors and handouts are given in return for information or wrong-doings. Our founding fathers would be ashamed! Perhaps there is no better time to push on and to fight on in the name of freedom and liberty. Don't give up, and don't give in because the future of our country depends on you!!! I encourage you to visit and become a member of the Barracuda Brigade for Our American Girl! 2012 on Facebook. Visit this group page and find out how you can get involved. I also encourage you to sign up for this groups event Tripp is not a Political Football. Here is a description of this event from it's organizers:

"The Tripp is not a Political Football protest will formally begin on Thursday Jan. 7th at 12pm. cst. We ask all concerned to call, fax and e-mail Governor Parnell: also to call and write both Judges and let them know: Patriots across America find your actions a disgrace to the Judicial system. That our concerns are being directed to the Governor's Office.

It is important we remember, fellow patriots, that together, we can make a difference. Let your voice be heard!!!

Profiling is Key!

To profile, or not profile? This is a question that seems to have come to the forefront in the wake of the Christmas Day attempted terrorist attack aboard Flight 253. It was following the tragic events of 9/11 that the issue of profiling first came up. While America has suffered other terror attacks, at the hands of domestic and foreign terrorists, 9/11 seemed to bring about the very notion of profiling. I was in college when those evil doers struck those towers and killed those brave men, women and children on that crystal clear September morning. I was getting ready to go for an early morning run. I remember listening to the television as I was putting on my running shoes. I heard the anchors of the Today Show (Katie Couric and Matt Lauer) discussing how a plane had hit one of the World Trade Center Towers. I sat there in awe, but blaming this event on an act of terrorism never crossed my mind. Thinking it was pilot or mechanical error, I headed out for my run unaware of what I would return to only 45 minutes later.

When I got back, I turned on the television, and I learned that I was, in fact, witnessing an act of terrorism on American soil. I witnessed people running for their lives, screaming with tears in their eyes as they fled the scene with debris covering their business suits. These were professional, successful people. These were people who had worked hard to get to where they were professionally. Many of those who died were living the American dream. For an instant, I saw my whole life flash before my eyes. America changed that day. My America, the land of the free and the home of the brave, no longer seemed like the carefree place I once viewed it as. The young college student I was continued to watch in horror, and I suddenly realized America had enemies, as naive as that may sound.

Those terrorists who killed so many that frightful September morning were cowards. Those terrorists had no regard for human life and no regard for freedom and liberty. September 11th changed a lot of how I view myself as an American. While I have always loved being an American, 9/11 made me a more complete American because of the way in which Americans came together in the midst of tragedy. I love my country and those who live here. Do you know how lucky we are to be able to stand up and speak out? Do you know how lucky we are to be able to fly our flags proudly? Being an American is everything to me. I love my country and the founding fathers who helped to make her what she is. That is why I want to do everything in my power to protect her and to keep her the free country she is. It is because of this that I believe in profiling.

That terrorist who boarded that Detroit-bound plane would have succeeded if not for a failed detonator, as well as the bravery of the passengers aboard that plane. How could this man be allowed to board that plane? I am angered that his own father's warnings went ignored. This man had been on a watch list for goodness sake. What the hell went wrong? Once again, it all comes back to the whole "politically correct" agenda being pushed down our throats by the left. I'm sorry, but if our government's idea of political correctness is to allow a Nigerian terrorist to board a plane with his underwear full of explosives, then, I don't want to be politically correct. Janet Napolitano should be ashamed of herself for first saying that the system worked, when clearly it did not. How dare she say that especially when we live in a post 9/11 world? After 9/11, it took months for individuals to feel safe to fly. In the words of Mark Levin: "That plane was almost blown from the sky."

I fully believe that had profiling been used on Christmas Day, that terrorist would NOT have been allowed to board that flight. Fox Business Channel's John Stossel has written an excellent http://stossel.blogs.foxbusiness.com/2010/01/04/profile-away/ in defense of profiling. According to Stossel:

"In the wake of the "underwear bomber," why is it still politically incorrect to talk about profiling? The TSA makes all of us remove our shoes and surrender our shaving cream. Shouldn't they also keep a profile of what potential terrorists do and aggressively screen people accordingly? Not just obvious things like screening people whose parents have reported them as possible terrorists (DUH.), but also people buying tickets with cash, buying one-way tickets, traveling with little/no luggage (oh, wait, the underwear terrorist did ALL of those things)."

What is wrong with our government? I thought we elected a president to protect us and to do whatever it takes to keep us safe. I, for one, have no problem with being profiled. If you have nothing to hide, you shouldn't either. I am sick and tired of the liberals out there who are scared to death of offending someone. These are the same individuals who preach political correctness, yet are the most vile to individuals like Sarah Palin and Michele Bachmann. I have no problem being profiled, and I say "Bring it on!" If you have nothing to hide, then, you shouldn't worry either. I would rather my flight be delayed for an hour, making sure everyone aboard was legit than for a travesty to occur. How many more Fort Hoods or Flight 253 terror acts have to occur before people realize that we have to take every measure possible to ensure an individual's safety?

I am sick and tired of the liberals saying that we have to be careful and walk on eggshells. It is very revealing that President Bush, whether you loved or hated the job he did as president, kept us safe after 9/11. He would never have thought to ease up the interrogation measures like President Obama has done. First, Obama announces that Guantanamo Bay will be closed, then he announces the dramatic change in interrogation techniques, then Attorney General Holder announces that there will be federal trials for the accused 9/11 conspirators. See the pattern here? The more we ease up on fighting terror here in America, the more we will be tested. It seems to me that President Obama is more concerned about his image abroad than keepibng us safe. There, I said it. I know I am not alone in feeling this way. Mr. Obama needs to get off this Politically Correct trip he is on and start focusing on the threats that exist. America is a strong beacon of light. Frankly, in the words Rhett Butler, one of my favorite movie characters of all time, "I don't give a damn" what other countries think of us if it means that we are safe. This does not mean that having a good relationship with other countries is not important; on the contrary, I fully believe in good relations between countries, but not if this means we compromise the freedom and safety we have as Americans.

Stossel goes on to quote David Harsanyi who writes:

"It is an unavoidable fact that these 'bad people' tend to come from certain places and subscribe to a certain religious affiliation. Focus on them."

This is exactly right. Major Malik Nadal Hasan and Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab were radical Muslim extremists. The hijackers who killed thousands on 9/11 were also radical Muslim extremists. According to Stossel:

"From the evidence, it is clear that it is impossible to cover every base, but the wasted billions shaking down the average passenger offers little more than psychological comfort. And comfort in knowing that no special interest will complain."

And for those concerned that profiling for terror suspects will lead to profiling solely based upon race alone, Stossel makes a great point and includes a personal account from a blogger:

"The anti-profiling people are usually worried that terrorist profiling will lead the TSA slippery slope to profiling based on skin color. But that hasn't been the case with the Israeli airline, El-Al, which aggressively profiles for terrorism. Here's one blogger's experience:

'I flew El Al from Los Angeles to Israel. I was a male in my 40s, traveling alone. Even though I was an American Caucasian and wasn't anything close to even looking like a Muslim, I was pulled out of the line by a security official with the Israeli airline and interrogated - in an unfriendly manner, I might add - for about 10 minutes before I was allowed to board. I was pulled out of line for interrogation because I fit a key part of the El Al profile - a male of a certain age traveling solo.'

EXACTLY!!! This is the answer, and as Stossel points out, "This is such common sense that it's unbelievable that the TSA won't utilize this tool. Then again, in government, common sense is often uncommon." When is our government going to wake up and realize it needs to up the ante to keep Americans safe. While it is commonsense to us, we are talking about the government after all. The government seems to be working against us, not for us. When we board a plane and take off, we should feel safe and secure. We shouldn't have to fear that there's a terrorist sitting next to us on the plane. I don't care what the crazy liberal left says about profiling being harmful. I only care that my family and I are safe when we fly the friendly skies. Maybe it's time for the Obama Administration and some members of Congress to stop appeasing to other countries and start working for we, the people. After all, we are the individuals who elect them to serve us.

Alert: Call to Action!

I have the privilege of being apart of the 2012 Draft Sarah Committee as the San Diego Regional Organizer. I have had a blast talking to hundreds of San Diegans and educating them about Sarah Palin. The vast majority of individuals to whom I speak are excited with the possibility that Sarah may may run for president in 2012. The 2012 Draft Sarah Committee has opened the door for me and allowed me to use my political voice. I have learned so much from the committee's members, many of whom have become
close friends. One such individual with whom I have formed a sisterhood with is 2012 Draft Sarah's Media Director and New York Organizer, Adrienne Ross. Many of you may know Adrienne from her blog Motivation: Truth. Adrienne has asked if I could pass along the following message from her as well as a letter in the form of a fun challenge from our committee's awesome chairman, Randy Highsmith. Thank you for reading and passing along to your family and friends. Thanks :)

2012 Draft Sarah Committee - $20 or $10 for 2010 Challenge:

Governor Palin's supporters who are on the 2012 Draft Sarah Committee email list have already received the letter below, which was sent out on New Year's Eve. Those who aren't, first, what in the world are you waiting for, and second, what in the world are you waiting for?! No, seriously.

The 2012 Draft Sarah Committee is the only FEC-registered draft committee, which means it's official, it's held to federal guidelines, and it's leading the charge to encourage Governor Palin to run in 2012.

In addition to our 2012 efforts, the Committee is dedicated to supporting the Governor in general. We've demonstrated that support with our physical presence at events from New York to Alaska--and many states in between. We continue to demonstrate that support with the work that goes on in our local areas across the country.

All Organizers are volunteers who believe in the cause, and we're counting on those of you who also believe to get involved. So be sure to sign up at our website by clicking here, and while you're there, take a look around.

The letter below is our $20 or $10 for 2010 Challenge. Check it out, and please answer the call.

Let's hit the ground running!

Dear 2012 Draft Sarah Committee Supporter,

We are on the verge of entering 2010, so let me be the first to wish you a Happy New Year!

2009 has been a challenging year for the nation, but one where Governor Palin has taken a stand on a variety of issues that are so crucial to America’s progress. It’s also the year of her best-selling memoir, Going Rogue. I am confident 2010 will be even more exciting.

The 2012 Draft Sarah Committee started 2009 by attending CPAC in February, which brings me to the point of this correspondence. CPAC, held in our nation’s capital, is the leading conservative gathering in the country. It was at CPAC where we were able to tell people more about the Committee, get feedback from Americans regarding Governor Palin, and acquire valuable contact information as we gained a myriad of online newsletter subscribers and volunteers. February is fast-approaching, and once again the 2012 Draft Sarah Committee wants to have a presence at CPAC.

We need your help.

In honor of 2010, I am asking you to start off the year with a $20 or $10 donation—or more—to the Committee. Contributions will go first towards booth rental and then towards material such as bumper stickers, flyers, shirts, and buttons for CPAC. Many of you are faithful to donate to SarahPAC; would you consider going above and beyond that contribution to make one to the 2012 Draft Sarah Committee as well, and would you consider making that contribution by the 10th of January?

We are doing important work, and even Governor Palin saw fit to thank us in Going Rogue. While we do operate independently of her, we are honored that she has taken note of our efforts. We want to carry on in this new year.

Please visit the website, www.2012draftsarahcommittee.com, to make your donation.

Thank you for considering a gift of $20 or $10, and Happy 2010 once again!

Respectfully,

Randy Highsmith
Chairman
